Paige and I did a little photo shoot to celebrate Red Berry Photography's 1st Birthday.

Today was picture day at school. I cheated and took these pictures before she went to school. Save myself $30 and I think they're much better anyway!

The girls and I tagged along with Justin last week while he was in San Antonio for a meeting and we met up with my friend Georgianna who is also a photographer for a little lunch and photo safari at La Cantera. I loved the colors in this frozen yogurt shop.

Today is school picture day. Cheesy headshots against a background of fake books. Bleh. Because I didn't trust that she would make it to her scheduled picture time with hair and clothes intact, I snapped a few before we left this morning. Did I mention that she look super cute, too??

Paige's class took a trip to the local pumpkin patch this morning. Brooke and I met them there. It was Brooke's first pumpkin experience.

Erin recently posted on her blog a new photo that she was going to put up in her bathroom. I thought it was a great idea, so I let the girls have a "treat" by taking a bath in the middle of the afternoon and snapped a few photos for their bathroom wall. Aren't they cute?

All's fair in love and photography. If one gets a photo shoot, so must the other. We didn't make it out until dusk, so we had to work fast.

Brooke will no longer look at the camera. Please, please let this be a phase. I chased her around the yard tonight to get these. It's REALLY hard to get good focus & exposure when your subject runs from you with her head down. Sigh.

red berry photography

As many of you know I have taken up photography in last year. I really wanted something more personal and reflective of my girls' personalities than the typical department store portraits. So, I invested in a quality camera and lenses, read lots of books, took a class, and found some very talented mentors to help me develop the technical and creative knowledge I needed. I am still learning and continuing to develop my skills, but have had several people ask me to photograph their children and families. I want to give them what I would want from a photographer so I have created Red Berry Photography which will allow me the opportunity to create and provide a professional experience to those that want more creative and personal photographs.
